Our Prime Argentine red prawns are a melt-in-your-mouth, sweet and succulent treat that once tasted, you’ll return to time and time again.
They come already shelled and cooked so you can enjoy them without fuss at home. This recipe combines the prawns with fresh mango in a tangy Asian salad that is big on flavour yet low on calories.
The avocado provides a wonderful texture contrast while ensuring this healthy dish is absolutely packed with nutrients.
125g pack of Prime Argentine Red Prawns
Juice of 2 limes
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp Demerara sugar (to taste)
200g Chinese leaf (or iceberg lettuce if you can’t find)
100g ripe mango, peeled and diced
1 avocado diced
Handful of fresh chopped mint or coriander
Mix the lime juice, sesame oil, sweet chilli sauce and sugar in a small bowl until smooth.
Now finely slice the Chinese leaf or lettuce before tipping into a salad bowl.
Scatter the diced mango and avocado on top followed by the Argentine Red Prawns, and sprinkle with the chopped mint or coriander.
Pour over the dressing when you’re ready to serve, and enjoy.
