Fresh Scallops are a real treat, and our scallops are only supplied from local boats in the Peterhead and Fraserburgh areas. They are so versatile and are delicious steamed, fried, or grilled. Be careful not to overcook otherwise you will lose their delicate flavour and texture.
Serve as soon as they are firm and opaque. We have taken them out of the shell for you so they are ready for cooking.
Scallop meat (molluscs)
Do not exceed ‘use by’ date. Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Once opened, use immediately. If freezing, freeze on day of purchase and consume within one month. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Once thawed do not re-freeze.
